The Oak Park Suite is the most rebooked suite at Harvey House and favorite of many guests. This large, deluxe King Suite has an antique stained glass window, a sitting area with a leather couch and writing desk, a kitchenette with granite tops, a private luxury marble bathroom with rain shower, cherry hard wood floors and furniture, and luxury bedding.
Oak Park is architecturally fabulous, having both the Frank Lloyd Wright influences and incredible historical Victorian architectural influences. Both are rarely found in the same structure. A sophisticated design team led by Gail Prauss Interior Design Studio, located in Oak Park, highlights how the two styles can blend in the same space. This suite combines the best of architecture in Oak Park with pure luxury and comfort.
A tranquil and serene color palette of shallow marine and pale pistachio in the luxury bedding blends a soft quilted pattern lifted by a bold jacquard. Velvety ribbon and brushed silver button details beautifully accent this fresh design.
Solid mahogany doors, lines of the cherry wood entertainment cabinet, and the custom bed are influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright's style. Curves found in the Victorian architectural elements of the stained glass window are repeated in the granite tops of the kitchen area and breakfast bar, combining the two styles with ease and comfort.
The private luxury bathroom includes a marble walled rainshower. Antique stained glass imported from Europe was used to create the magnificent window in the front of the suite. The leaded prisms inspire all of those who have an interest in architecture as they dance in the morning dawn and glow in the moonlight.
