A message from the Owner
"Proof of Vaccination and mask wearing is no longer in effect as of Feb 28, 2022.
Individuals may still wear mask for an array of reasons, such as to protect the unvaccinated, including those too young to be vaccinated or medically unable to be vaccinated, to protect themselves or those individuals who are medically fragile per the CDC's Guidance. All Harvey House staff and team members will be masked. We ask that you be respectful of other guest and practice social distancing.
These are all easy steps we can take to support one another and the communities we love, -whether we live there, work there or are visiting.
We now offer the ability to protect your travel plans with Travel Protection™. More information is provided below."
What you can expect from Harvey House: In alignment with public health recommendations, Harvey House is taking measures to prevent community spread of COVID-19. The person has not had close contact, within the last 14 days, with anyone who is confirmed to have COVID-19. Any other person in his or her care who is under the age of 18 or who is dependent on his or her care meets the criteria above. In addition:

These requirements are consistent with the State of Illinois requirements. Housekeeping:
Harvey House staff has increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting, focusing on the guests rooms and specifically all high-touch surfaces, including all common areas/ communal rooms, public restrooms, switches, handrails, tables, faucets, doorknobs, remote controls and shared keyboards. Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting with attention to these areas helps remove bacteria and viruses, including the novel coronavirus. Staff will practice good hand hygiene before and after cleaning including washing hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
We are not currently offering daily housekeeping unless requested and for an additional charge.
Breakfast: A Complimentary 'Grab and Go Station' in the common area is provided each morning from 8:00 to 9:30 that includes coffee, tea, packaged pastries, fruit and yogurt. Items can be taken to the two top tables in the common area, back to your room, or to the outdoor patio, weather permitting.
